That forlorn feeling of a heartbreak, the smile that’s struggled to age in time as well as all of the particulars to one moment which makes everything in it much more relatable than ever before. To say the least, Hypocrite In A Hippy Crypt’s “Smile For Me” is a relatable album. With lyrics that speak of normal moments, normal things and normal actions but are deepened tenfold over by a heavy heart and piercing thoughts.

Coming from that legendary and unusual mid-west city of Bloomington, Indiana, Hypocrite In A Hippy Crypt is releasing his second album on Already Dead Tapes and Records. Reaching another winter of his years, but still finding another light in order to emote, the anonymous solo artist has been known to release songs of romance with an air of consuming thoughts and photographic memories. With strong and obvious influences coming from other notably sentimental performers, (Elliot Smith, Weezer, The Beach Boys, The Beatles – as stated on Hypocrite In A Hippy Crypt’s Facebook page,) “Smile For Me” is an album of soft, solid and emotional hits.
